摘めばすぐにほどけて飛んで行ってしまうタンポポの冠毛。この繊細な冠毛をもった種子を、このまま留めたいと願ったのは未だ幼い時だった。

植物と蝋の仕事を始めて、冠毛を留める方法を見つけた。そして1800本の冠毛を展示するインスタレーションをしている。

音や匂いや手触りなどにより不意に眠っていた記憶がよみがえる時があるように、たんぽぽの綿毛は幼い幸せの時代の記憶をよみがえらせる。その記憶こそその人間の今を作っている核となるものだろう。（10歳ころまでに経験したことが人の性の本質を形成していると思う）

そして冠毛の展示の下にある枠のある鉄板を置き、1.5cm程の水を入れている。水は光を好かした美しい冠毛の裏を映しだし、深い闇とともにある。人は水を覗き込む時さらに深い記憶の底を探ることになるだろう。そこにあるのはどんな記憶なのだろう。

The dandelion puff flies away so easily even by a light touch.

It was in my childhood when I first wished to hold those delicate rounds.

While working on my arts with plants and the wax, I found the way to make my wish come true. Since then, I have held installations by displayng 1800 dandelion puffs.

As sounds, smells or tactual senses sometimes unexpectedly bring back our memories which had been lying under the level of consciousness, the dandelion puff gives me a moment to cherish my precious childhood memories.
Those childhood memories must be the cores of which we currently are.
(I believe one's human nature is formed by what he/she had experienced by the age of 10.)

The water is let flown to an iron frame which is put underneath the puffs' display.
In the dark water, the reflection of the beautiful puffs' bottom/back side (thru the light) is captured.
When you look into the water, you will look further into your memories; what will you find ther?
